While at EMU, the Eagles captured the 1997-98 Mid-America Conference championship. During his tenure at Ohio State, the Lady Buckeyes won the 2001 Women's National Invitation Tournament. He was promoted to assistant coach for the 1999-00 campaign.A native of Albion, Mich., and 1997 graduate of Purdue University where he earned a bachelor's degree in physical education, he served as head freshman football coach at Harrison High School in West Lafayette, Ind., from 1993-95 and later as junior high school head basketball coach at Lafayette Catholic for the 1996-97 campaign.
